IN SEARCH OF LAND

I am getting tired of people in general so I am looking for a very special piece of land where I won't be bothered unless somebody really wants to go to the effort to find me. The main thing is that it be remote. There are a few things that I would like to have but nothing is written in stone. 

LOCAL GOVERNMENT:
I don't want to be in an area controlled by building codes. Law enforcement and game wardens are OK.

ACREAGE:
I would like from 4 to 30 acres.

LOCATION:
It does not matter if it is in the mountains, desert, jungle or swamp. I have lived in all but the mountains so far.

TERRAIN:
There should be some natural building material there such as rock small enough to handle, sand clay, shell, limestone deposits etc. if possible. Trees don't count. I like trees and I don't want to cut them for building materials.

If located in the mountains I would prefer a south facing direction so I can use solar power and heating.

A cave large enough to be made habitable with a minimum of 100 sq. feet or more would probably seal the deal.

Altitudes above 5,000 feet or the top of a mountain or hill would be a plus.

If in the desert a very sandy area close by would be a plus.

WATER:
Water is a definite plus Although not absolutely necessary because I can produce my own drinking water. Above ground like a stream would be even better.

ACCESS:
Access by plane only is out of the question. My income does not afford that.
If natural building materials are not available I should be able to at least build a road for a 2 wheel drive vehicle.

ELECTRICITY AND PHONE:
Most likely if the land has this it is probably not remote enough. I can produce my own electricity and a phone would be nice but far from necessary.

WILDLIFE:
I do not hunt or fish. Personally I would work around the wildlife, I love watching it. I would have no problem with a covenant stating the land must be kept as an animal or bird sanctuary.

ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE LAND:
I have no problem with this as long as I can build my home and live there.  My interests do not affect the land. land is only a buffer from possible neighbors in the future.

LOCAL POPULATION:
Although I prefer NO people at all, I have no problem interacting in a community setting and joining community projects. I am however, a very private person and enjoy my solitude. I get very involved with my work and research and do not like interruptions unless it is important. I do not make it a habit of dropping in on people for idle chat unless it is at a community gathering. I would have no problem with somebody dropping by to get acquainted but after that, unless you have some business or need help with something, please save it for the church picnic, local get-to-gethers or when we meet on the street or trail. I have no interest in other peoples lives and I prefer they stay out of mine.
